Easter Week

Hey Family!

Easter was fantastic! We got invites from members all over the ward. We had 3 dinner appointments yesterday after church. We went to the Howard's first. They invited a lot of the ward over as well. Then we went to the Cain’s for dinner. Then after that we went to the Burningham’ s for dinner. We also had 4 investigators to church. We only planned on having 1. We even followed one of them home to find out where he lived. Yes, we are stalkers. Our sacrament meeting was a fast and testimony meeting. Because of general conference and stake conference a week after. It was wonderful to hear everyone's testimony of Christ and the resurrection.  We were showing everyone the Easter videos. It is so easy to help people feel the spirit when they watch the video.  We set a baptismal date with our investigator named Samantha for April 17th. We may also be having a second baptism next month as well. An old former investigator named Dave came to church and we heard from a couple members that he wants to get baptized. He has already been taught everything. Twice. He just needs to pass his baptismal interview. 

Last week we were also able to go on splits with some members of the ward. We covered about 5 appointments in one day with all of the less actives out in Pine River, Minnesota. I went with John Quinn who was in the Oakdale ward when I was serving there. It was nice to see him again and go to his home.

Today are down in Elk River with the Zone playing basketball and then we are going to have a barbecue. 

I promise a longer email next week. We are doing a lot this week.
