Hey Family!

Things here have been going really well. Last week we contacted 13 NAC families. We have a lot of work set up for this coming week. We are really excited to see this area take off. This next week we are going on splits with some members in Line River and we are going to be visiting a lot of people. The majority of our work has been with less actives. We had 10 lessons with less active members last week. That is going to be our main focus of our work is getting less actives to church and finding investigators through those less active members.

We will be going down to Fort Ripley tomorrow evening to visit a member referral. Her name is Samantha. She is staying with this family while she goes to school. She came to church 3 weeks ago and wants to learn more! We have a few part member families on our radar but nothing too solid yet. Elder Taugavau and I are meeting with the Elders Quorum president and the High Priest group leader this week to find more about the families we want to work with.

We went on exchanges last week with the Alexandria Elders. I went with Elder King to Alexandria to work. They have a really small ward I would consider it a branch. It is always fun to go and visit the people in the surrounding areas in which you serve. You get to see so many different people and testimonies. While we were in the church parking lot this lady walked up to us and started asking us how she could get a hold of the bishop so she could get money to get somewhere. We told here that we usually don't hand out money like that, we also explained that he bishop would be here later in the evening (for mutual) if she really needed the money. She came back and meet with the bishop and walked away empty handed. There are a lot of people that are out to cheat the system.

It has cooled down a lot this week. It has been stuck in the thirties. We are ready for the April weather.
