Today was a pretty average Pday. We went down to St Cloud again to spend P day with the Zone Leaders because we are exchanging. Elder Young came up here with me. He is going to interview Brother Kruta for his baptism tomorrow. We meet with Brother Window tonight. He is in a part member family and we want to get to know him better. He showed us all of his wood carvings and his wife left cookies for us but she had already left town to go visit some family in Arizona.

Today was a fantastic day! We made a lot of phone calls in the morning to set stuff up for the baptism on Saturday. Still trying to find someone to play the Piano. We had my birthday lunch on Kristi at Dairy Queen. Then Elder Young and I went up to the Kruta's in for the baptismal interview. Sister Kruta gave me a tour of the property. They have a caboose in their yard that they have renovated so she showed me that. Then they have a model train set that they made in their shed. They both are really into trains. Brother Kruta passed his interview and is all clear for baptism. We then went over to the Tropp's. They are the main fellowshipper's for the Kruta's. We helped them move a few things around and then had dinner. We set plans for the baptism. Then we went over to the Cain's and had cake because it was my birthday! I ate way too many sweets today......

Today was an awesome day! Last day with Elder Young. Elder Taugavau came back tonight. There is a less active that works at Pizza Hut and every time we go over to Pizza Hut she hooks us up. She got us a pizza and let's do the buffet for free! So we ate and ate and ate. So good! After we had lunch we went to go and visit Brother Lund. He pulled out his guitar and played us a few songs. After that we went and had dinner with the Simons. They had a feast waiting for us. They made tacos and went all out. It was so good. Then we then headed over to the church and met with Dave McArthur he is preparing to be baptized on the 30th of April. I was a little hesitant about him getting baptized because he kind of just popped out of nowhere. In the visit we had with him today I really felt the spirit confirm that he had done the work sufficient to get baptized. I am super excited for his baptism. After we meet with Dave we saw Brother Jenkins. Brother Jenkins has 2 granddaughters that he wants to be baptized. We talked about teaching them and set up a reoccurring appointment every Wednesday at 6 o'clock. Then we went to Little Falls and exchanged back.

Another great day. Today we went back out to Little Falls and met with the Hart family. They are a semi active family and they have a few nonmembers living with them. Brother hart wants us to start coming out every week to visit them. We taught his nephew named Isaiah today he is about 15. He had some amazing questions he was asking us. Then we had dinner with them. They made us ribs!!! They were so good I couldn't believe it! Then after dinner we went a visited the Benjamin's and Samantha was there. She has moved back in. We taught her the gospel of Jesus Christ especially about repentance. The spirit was super strong. She is looking at April 30th orMay 7th for baptism. Things are looking really good for us right now if everything goes as planned we should have  9 baptisms in the next 3 months.

Slow day. We had our weekly planning session. We got everything in order for Lester’s baptism tomorrow. The Tropp's came over to the Simons for dinner yesterday. Then we went and visited the Hoefferle family. Things are going well.

Saturday April 16th, 2016

Today was a fantastic day! Lester got baptized today. We headed over to the Church around 11:00pm to set up for the baptism. We wanted to have the font nice and warm for him so we ran the hot water for quite a while. Slowly people started to show up. They had family that came from Utah to see him get baptized. Lester has been attending this church for about 20 years and is just now getting baptized so there were many who wanted to come out and support him. He is  87 years old so Elder Taugavau got in the Font with Brother Tropp to help baptize Lester. It took Lester quite a while to get into the font we had the water way too hot for him. We had to run the cold water for about 15 minutes before he felt comfortable to get into the water. The baptism went really smooth. He was so happy after he came up. The spirit was also super strong and it stayed with us throughout the entire day!  After cleaning up and putting everything away we came back home and had dinner then we went out and visited with Wes and had a lesson with him. He hasn’t been to church in 6 weeks so we are doing everything in our power to get him to church tomorrow.

Sunday April 17th, 2016

Today was a really crazy! Lester was confirmed and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. The stake presidency showed up and shook up everything. We got a new bishopric. Brother Tanner is the new bishop, with brother Oettle and Tropp as counsellors. In the next few weeks expect changes in the Elders Quorum, Young Men, Young Women, Relief Society and High Priests. This one changed affected everything else. Pretty crazy day. We went and visited sister Sawyer who hasn't been to church in quite a few years! She has some memory issues. She told us the same storys over and over again. Then we went and had dinner with the Brooks family and the Fabers came and joined us as well. We had a barbecue in the backyard. It was Elder Taugavau's first time seeing a trampoline and getting on one. I got some pretty funny videos. After dinner we stopped by the Cains for a few minutes. Then we had a lesson with Wes and  John. Pretty busy day.

We found out transfers today. Sadly Elder Taugavau is getting transferred. He is heading to the U of M campus and Elder Patrick is coming here. I came out with Elder Patrick so I already know him.
